Jay C Bradley, M.D.

Jay C Bradley, MD graduated magna cum laude in 1999 with a B.S. degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Texas Tech University. He went on to graduate as an Alpha Omega Alpha member from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in 2003. Subsequently, he did his one-year preliminary internship in internal medicine and his ophthalmology residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center between 2003 and 2007. In 2008 he completed a cornea, external disease and refractive surgery fellowship, as a Heed fellow, at University of California, Davis. In 2009 he was awarded the Troutman Cornea Prize for Young Clinician Investigators, which recognizes the best Cornea paper published for the year.

Following fellowship, he returned to Lubbock to become one of the area’s few corneal specialists. He is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He currently works at West Texas Eye Associates where he provides the latest in cataract and corneal surgery as well as general eye care and refractive surgery.

Dr. Bradley is a member of the local Lubbock-Crosby-Garza County Medical Society and Texas Tech Alumni Association. He has memberships in state and national organizations such as the Texas Medical Association and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
